Vision
To be the pre-eminent, cohesive nationwide
organisation which is recognised as representing the diverse interests
of all retailers and is the most effective provider of quality
information and services to members, which fosters an environment
conducive to their business success.
Mission
- To be the premier representative of the retail
industry nationally by having broad membership and affiliations in all
states and categories (achieving scale to provide the most efficient
and effective services and representation).
- To be a highly
effective peak advocate for retailers through quality research,
advocacy, and member involvement (achieving an environment conducive to
retail industry growth and development).
- To upgrade the quality
of retailers in Australia through the provision of cost effective
services and advice (contributing to sustainable and profitable growth
for retailers).
- To promote and facilitate quality careers in
the retail industry through research, promotion and training (upgrading
the quality and quantity of the retail workforce).
