
In a first for retail associations, all ARA members now have access to a comprehensive online Employment Relations Management System.Please refer to right hand toolbar on the website for ERMS log in portal.
Every financial member receives a unique username and password to access the ERMS to assist them in managing the entire employment lifecycle from hiring and performance management through to termination. The ERMS will ensure all members have Fair Work Act compliant tools and information for the full introduction of the Fair Work Act on 1 January 2010.

Step 1: Click on the ERMS button on the top right hand corner of any page on the ARA website (see Figure 1).

What is the ERMS and what are its benefits?
The ARA ERMS is a retail-specific Employment Relations Management platform. Through the ARA ERMS, every ARA member will have their own dedicated, confidential portal of information and tools to assist them to better understand and comply with the new Fair Work Act, unfair dismissal laws, and modern retail award, and to generally improve the way they do business.

ERMS to apply from 1 January 2010
The ERMS is designed to comply with the new Fair Work Act 2010. Members are advised to ensure they seek advice from the ARA ER Team (T: 1300 368 041) when using the ERMS prior to 1 January 2010.
