Peak retail industry body the Australian Retailers Association (ARA) has slammed the Green Party’s Plastic Bag Levy legislation introduced to the Senate today.
ARA Executive Director Richard Evans said just when working families of Australia get some respite from a difficult economy with proposed tax cuts - the Greens want to increase grocery prices.

With discretionary spending on the decline, mothers around the country can expect to be spoilt this Sunday with traditional gifts and a modest approach to Mother’s Day.
