The Showcase Event for Victorian Small Business

The Australian Retailers Association is proud to participate in the Victorian Government's Energise Enterprise 08- Victoria's Small Business Festival, the showcase event in 2008 for people looking to start or build their small business.

This year, the four-week Festival will be bigger and better with over 400 events taking place across metropolitan and regional Victoria throughout August.

The Festival program represents the energies of 150 government agencies, industry associations, business groups and community organisations that are committed to encouraging and assisting the development of our dynamic small business sector.

Energise Enterprise 08 will include information sessions, training workshops, conferences, seminars and networking events - all designed to create opportunities for small business to be inspired, informed and to improve their management skills. An extensive range of topics will also be covered including, business start-up, exporting, franchising, marketing, grants and succession planning.

Whether you're starting, building or diversifying a business, whether your business is based in metropolitan Melbourne or regional Victoria, Energise Enterprise 08 has something to offer all types of small business.

Energise Enterprise 08 will also be a celebration of the enormous contribution small business makes to Victoria's community and economy and is a tangible demonstration of the Victorian Government's genuine commitment to assisting small business by working cooperatively with a wide range of business organisations.

Highly interactive retail skills training seminar covering buying merchandise, store layout and visual merchandising, retail marketing, understanding retail financials, customer service and selling skills.
