Have your say - Reserve Bank of Australia retail discussion forum.
The ARA is offering a unique opportunity for members to discuss concerns related to business conditions for small to medium retailers with Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) representatives.
Sharon Suan, Senior Representative of the RBA’s Victorian Office will open the discussion forum by giving ARA members an overview of various factors impacting retail including deflation of goods, impacts of external forces (mining), Consumer Price Index (CPI), unemployment figures and wages growth.
Then it’s your turn. The RBA want to hear from you about:
• What are the key constraints within the SME sector?
• Are there any differences in business conditions by industry?
• What is the outlook for SME firms in the year ahead?
• Is there appetite for credit? Have credit conditions eased?
• Are there SMEs that have gained mining related contracts?
• How is the exchange rate appreciation affecting SMEs?
