Beth graduated with a BA (Hons) in Retailing from Leeds University in 2004. Specialising in Human Resources Beth has extensive theoretical knowledge of a wide range of Retail Sectors. Both before and after her degree, Beth has amassed a decade of experience in the retail industry which, in conjunction with her studies, affords Beth a well established reputation in her field. Over her career with an internationally recognised retail chain, Beth progressed through all Operational areas to the role of Store Manager, managing a turnover in excess of $2.5m and leading over 90 team members. In recognition of her diligence and leadership, Beth took on the responsibilities of Regional Training Expert ensuring a smooth transition for both the new Store Manager population and beneficiaries of a strong internal promotion program. Due to her achievements to date Beth was approached by a young innovative retailer with a strong heritage in the City of London to become a Regional Store Manager. Following Beth’s marriage in May 2008 she was able, along with her new husband, to realise a lifelong ambition of moving to Melbourne. Beth now specialises in training and development full time.
As a Specialist Retail Trainer, Beth is enthusiastic and passionate about retail training and development. Having worked from the ground up she has emerged as a motivated and self-directed professional who enjoys helping others achieve their objectives. Beth currently develops, trains and assesses all levels of Retail and Business management for both Tafe and RTO’s across Australia. Beth focuses on the positive development of an individual’s knowledge and skills, ensuring they have a successful and fun learning experience.
