Karen’s 25years of retail experience working with large national chains and SME’s covering a broad range of categories from fashion and hard goods and grocery. Karen has held senior roles specialising in Merchandise Buying and Retail Marketing. Her focus on sales and profitability as well as customer focussed retail strategies underpins her retail expertise. Currently Karen facilitates lectures and consults in many facets of Retail including multi-channel. Karen also has a Marketing degree and MBA as well as Certificate IV qualified in workplace training, however take a practical hands-on approach to any education or facilitation situation. Karen brings a depth of experience and knowledge to add value to your retail business no matter what the size or challenge.

As a Specialist Retail Consultant, Karen has worked with a various clients in the areas of Merchandise Strategy and Retail Financial Analysis and Marketing, specifically in the areas of product ranging and performance improvement. Her background in buying and marketing for leading supermarket and department store chains has ensured a strong discipline and understanding of the key retail drivers for any type of retail business.

As a Specialist Retail Facilitator, Karen has facilitated, developed and delivered many levels of industry training, seminars and workshops in the areas of inventory management, marketing and customer service. Her energy yet empathetic and participative approach engages the audience to ensure they learn new or improve their retail skills with a core approach of profitability and the customer.
