Course Description

The Risk Management Introduction course is designed for personnel who would like a general understanding of OHS and risk management in NSW.

Members: $190
Non Members: $240

Who Should Attend?

This course is suited for managers and supervisors who have OHS responsibilities and are involved in the risk management process.

Regulatory Requirements

The NSW OHS Act 2000and OHS regulation 2001 require employers to provide appropriate instruction and training as is necessary to fulfill OHS obligations.

Learning Outcomes

On completion of the course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the legislation that governs occupational health and safety in NSW.
  • Define and identify a variety of hazards.
  • Describe the systematic management of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Understand the risk management process.
  • Describe the aims of the workplace injury management and workers compensation legislation.

Completion

Certificate of attendance will be issued upon successful completion of the training.
