Peak retail industry body the Australian Retailers Association (ARA) said the Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) decision to cut the cash rate by 0.25 points today may be too late for many struggling small retailers. ARA Executive Director Richard Evans said that the cut won't be felt for at least three to four months and damage as already been done for smaller retailers who have borne the brunt of heavy handed monetary policy since late last year.
