ARA Retail Institute

The ARA Retail Institute provides excellence in retail consulting & education offering the latest in both training and professional development for members and non-members of the Association. Retailer consulting, education and training are available on a broad range of topics, including: buying, finance, merchandising, store operations, marketing, management training, customer service, selling skills, loss prevention and consumer issues.

The ARA Retail Institute is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and offers a range of retail specific accredited programs including Certificate 2 and 3 in Retail, Certificate 4 in Retail Management and the Diploma of Retail Management. A series of one day Professional Development workshops are also run in conjunction with the Diploma of Retail Management.

The ARA Retail Institute also offers the ARA Online Learning Institute. The ARA Online Learning Institute provides a flexible online learning alternative, enabling you to develop new retail skills when and where required, at a pace appropriate to your own style of learning.

Skills for Growth: the Workforce Development Program

a Victorian Government initiative that provides you with a business specialist to work with you, free of charge, to identify your strategic business aims and objectives, and develop your workforce and training plans. Drake International has been appointed by the Victorian Government as an independent business specialist to introduce the Skills for Growth Program to small and medium businesses in Victoria.
