
Qualification for the Diploma requires demonstration of competence in 9 key learning units, completed part-time within a twelve month period. Nine major retail skills areas are covered, delivered over nine one day workshop sessions. The aim of the program is to provide participants with knowledge and skills in key areas of retail management excellence.

As an AQTF approved Higher Education qualification, the University of Western Sydney has accredited the Retail Management Diploma with advanced standing units towards their Bachelor of Commerce and Business - Retail Management.
The ARA Retail Institute(ARA) is the peak body representing the interests of the retail industry in Australia, and its learning arm, the ARA Retail Institute, provides excellence in online retail education, training, and professional development for retail specific areas. Diploma participants will be guided through their learning by an experienced ARA facilitator and mentor, using practical exercises, case studies and online assessments that reflect the day to day challenges of retailing.
