Keynote Speaker: Dr. Laura Good
Post-Doctoral Research Fellow, Australian Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusion @ Work, University of Sydney.
Dr. Good is an expert on gender dynamics in frontline service sector work, the impact of digitalisation in workplaces, and gender, skills and technology. She has established research expertise in sexual harassment and gendered customer interactions within the service sector workplace contexts. Dr. Good holds a master’s degree in public policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science and has received the University Medal from the University of Sydney.
Lindsay Carroll
Interim CEO, National Retail Association
As the Deputy CEO and Legal Practice Director at the National Retail Association, Lindsay (she/her) oversees one of the largest in-house teams of workplace relations advisors and lawyers orientated to the retail and quick services industries. Lindsay is a leading workplace relations specialist and regularly provides advice on the full spectrum of workplace relations and work health and safety in Australia.
Deborah Potts
Chief Member Officer, Rest
Deborah is responsible for Rest’s member experience across all touchpoints and channels, including the fund’s approach to employer connections, advice and education, member onboarding and retention. This includes leadership of Rest’s brand, marketing and member communications, employer servicing, business development, product, digital and disclosure functions.

Fleur leads the Industry Affairs portfolio for the ARA, which encompasses policy and advocacy, media, marketing, events, and partnerships. Fleur has worked as an executive leader in government, media, and marketing industries. Prior to joining the ARA, she ran the award-winning Launch Group agency, which was responsible for government and investor relations, advocacy, and media management for many leading Australian brands and public entities.
