    Nationally Recognised Qualifications  

    The ARA Retail Institute is the training division of the ARA and is responsible for the Registered Training Organisation (RTO). National Registration Number 4049.

    The ARA offers nationally recognised qualification and units of competency from the National Training Register
    (NTR) Retail Training Package.

    Scope of Registration 

    The scope of the qualifications that the ARA is authorised to deliver and/or assets is available on the National Training Registers training.gov.au.

    Participating in a nationally recognised qualification and units of competency can lead to a VET Qualifications or a Statement of Attainment in Retail Certificates II, III, IV, or Diploma. 

    Students may take part in various pathways leading to a qualification or statement of attainment. This includes full-time study, part-time or via a traineeship.

    QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

    • SIR20216- Certificate II in Retail Services
    • SIR30216- Certificate III in Retail
    • SIR40316- Certificate IV in Retail Management
    • SIR50317- Diploma of Retail Merchandise Management

     

    UNITS OF COMPETENCY INCLUDE: 

    HLTINFCOV001- Comply with infection prevention and control policies and procedures 

    • Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 
    • Fit and Proper Person Requirements 2011 
    • Data Provision Requirements 2012 
    • Australian Qualifications Framework 
    • Financial Viability Risk Assessment Requirements

    STATEMENT OF FEES

    Training Providers are bound by the requirement of VET to publish a Statement of Fee and or issue to a student before the commencement of training.  

    The Statement of Fees quote includes the total cost to them, for their course of study tuition fees (enrolment fees) taking into account any circumstances such as eligibility for concession.  

    Funding arrangements and values differ between government jurisdictions responsible for VET funding (student subsidised allowance to participate in a nationally recognised qualification).

The ARA Retail Institute specialises in consulting and education on a broad range of topics, including: Retail Buying, Financials, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and Sales and Service Strategy. The ARA Retail Institute houses a suite of both accredited and non accredited training solutions; from the Diploma of Retail Management to customized in-house training programs. This suite provides a diverse and flexible range of education products to suit industry needs.
