About ARC retail membership
The Australian Retail Council represents retailers of all sizes – large and small – across the country. As a member-led organisation, we advocate on behalf of our members and the broader sector, providing a range of services, benefits, insights and representation to support you in a fast changing landscape.
Retail membership is designed for businesses operating in the retail sector who want to strengthen their operations, stay ahead of industry change and be part of shaping the future of retail in Australia.
As a retail member, you’ll receive access to:

Who is eligible?
Retail membership is open to:
- Independent, online, multi-channel and bricks-and-mortar retailers
- Retail chains and franchises
- National and multinational retail brands operating in Australia
- Retail businesses of all sizes with a valid Australian Business Number (ABN)
