KitKat unveils permanent location in Melbourne

KitKat-2.jpg Chocolate lovers rejoice! Just days away from the official opening, KITKAT is gearing up to launch their first permanent store in Australia – the KitKat Chocolatory.

The innovative venture promises to provide shoppers with the ultimate experience to try unique and one-off chocolates, and even the opportunity to create their own custom-made KitKat bars.

Nestlé Australia’s Head of Marketing for Confectionary, Anna Stewart, anticipates a positive reception for the launch, following on from the success of pop-up stores in both Melbourne and Sydney last year.

KitKat1.jpg “Our previous KitKat Studio pop ups were a huge hit with the Australian public, so it was a natural evolution to create a permanent store where people could unleash their creativity and create personalised flavours. With its reputation as a creative hub for food and art, launching the store in Melbourne was the perfect choice” Stewart said.

The unveiling of the permanent retail location will be marked with an exciting design collaboration in the form of the KitKat Melbourne street collection. Melbourne-based street artist, Dvate and award-winning pastry chef, Anna Polyviou joined creative forces to create the exclusive gastronomical offering only available in-store.

KitKat-3.jpg From the vibrant combinations of flavours, to the street-art influenced decoration, the range draws inspiration from the KitKat Chocolatory’s distinctive new home in Melbourne.

The city’s newest destination for chocolate-lovers is part of global rollout by KitKat, with a range of other locations opening in the UK, Japan and Malaysia.
