Top tips for a Winning Submission

AWARDS_BEN_BANNER_9-01.png Australia is overflowing with undiscovered retail excellence, and the ARA is on the hunt to find outstanding stores and individuals to enter
The 2017 eftpos ARA Australian Retail Awards.

As Australia’s largest and longest running industry recognition program – the eftpos ARA Retail Awards is a unique opportunity to have your business, and your staff, recognised for exceptional retailing. We’re calling on Australian retailers to share your achievements and innovations, and be recognised among the best in the industry.

Below you’ll find our top tips to put your best foot forward when entering for this year’s Awards;

 1. Choosing a Category

You can find the category details here – there’s an award for every retailer! After reviewing the Category Criteria and Eligibility Requirements, make a list of the Awards that best reflect the achievements of your retail business or staff. Share the details with your team and gather their input for the online submission.

Be sure to consider submitting for a number of differents Awards that showcase your retail business – the more the merrier! Each submission will also increase your chances of winning $5,000 just for entering (Learn more here).

 2. Submitting an Entry

The online submission process is simple and streamlined – providing Awards details, criteria questions, and uploading functionality for documents and images.

We recommend that you address as many questions as possible, and the word limit on the form will help you to keep your answers short and sweet. The judges are looking for informative and detailed answers, but they are also looking for the WOW factor when they judge your submission – so remember to be creative!

 3. Be in it to win it!

You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take – so the first step in winning a coveted Retail Award is making sure you’re in the running! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by simply entering for an Award, so if you think your business is worth recognising – let us know by putting in a submission.

And don’t forget the closing date for Awards entries is COB Friday, June 16th – don’t miss out!

Looking forward to your entries – best of luck!
