The eftpos ARA Australian Retail Awards are the retail industry’s longest running recognition of success, and this year will take place in front of 500 guests at a prestigious breakfast event at the Grand Hyatt, Melbourne on August 10.

In 2000, Jeff Allis and his wife, Janine, founded Boost Juice, a runaway retail success, and is chairman of Retail Zoo, owner of Boost Juice, Salsa’s, Cibo, and Hatch. Retail Zoo has turned a single brand business into a power house, multi-brand international retailer, operating more than 400 stores across 10 countries. Jeff is honest, humorous, and ruthlessly observant, and will provide Awards attendees with precious insights into Retail Zoo’s success.

Daniel Flynn began the Thank You business in 2008 with a single product – Thank You Water – and a dream to empower consumers to play a part in ending global poverty through simple every day purchases. Today, the Thank You business has more than 40 products and is available in 5000 outlets in Australia, with 100 percent of its profits going towards safe water, food, and hygiene and sanitation services around the world.

Daniel is an incredibly inspiring and energetic speaker, with the eftpos ARA Australian Retail Awards audience to leave feeling motivated and empowered by the lessons he’s learned in the eight year Thank You journey.

Early Bird prices to attend the 2016 Awards Breakfast end this Friday, July 15, with tickets starting from $45 for individuals and $400 for a table of 10. Tickets can be purchased at http://retail.org.au/2016-retail-awards/

Russell Zimmerman, ARA Executive Director, said the Awards Breakfast is an opportunity for all Australian retailers to come together to celebrate the success of their peers, network, and learn from other’s experience.
“To have Jeff and Daniel on board to share the journey and learnings behind their success is a real coup, and will only add to the atmosphere of celebration and industry support we expect the 2016 Awards to provide to retailers,” Mr Zimmerman said.

Past winners include Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, SpecSavers, The Good Guys, Saltwater Wine, and Cannings Butchers, among many others.
