Google’s Digital Garage empowers all

The new Google Digital Garage in Manchester is part of an initiative announced by Google to help 100,000 people in the UK enhance their retail career by offering free digital skills in more than 200 towns and cities. Designed by creative agency Dalziel & Pow and delivered in partnership with leading experiential agency WRG, the new Google Digital Garage in Manchester offers their services to everyone for free.

With over 40 hours of training available, workshops include building an online presence, how to grow your business using social media and learning to find success with analytics. The vision was to create a welcoming environment that echoes Google’s inclusive message and as a result the Google Digital Garage centres on a human level of service that’s all about face-to-face interaction.

The services are available to everyone, from people who don’t have confidence with digital skills, to professionals wishing to enhance their careers with more advanced skills such as online marketing or coding.

The Manchester Digital Garage is the third location that the two creative agencies have partnered on, and follows the successful launches in both Sheffield and Birmingham.
