Safe use of ladders alert

Ladders are used extensively within retail businesses. SafeWork NSW has released a new video safety alert – Safe use of ladders. This coincides with the development of a new ladders page on the SafeWork website.

Each year there are dozens of serious injuries resulting from falls from ladders. Most of these incidents involve a ladder being used inappropriately or incorrectly. The above short video and web content is aimed at reducing serious injuries and fatalities in the workplace by demonstrating basic techniques that any workplace, large or small, can implement.
